![]() At Dandaragan Organic Beef we want to farm for the future. For us that involved planting trees, rehabilitating some of our riparian areas, using solar pumps for our water systems and getting involved in soil carbon research. Perennial pastures are considered to be a viable carbon sequestration method. Both CSRIO and Northern Agricultural Catchments Council have trial plots on Noondel to better assess how much carbon perennial grasses can capture and store in the soil.
